Welcome

Mike Whitson, PPN chairmanThank you for checking out our website and I hope you will find this site of interest and will want to join our organisation.

Property People’s Network was founded in 2003 and took over from what were the Charter Society and the BSc Club. The BSc Club was formed in 1926 when the College of Estate Management was based in St Albans Grove, Kensington. Subsequent to the College’s move to Reading, the Charter Society was formed.

The focus of PPN is predominately for networking between members and their guests through a wide range of events. There are organised visits to various buildings, sites and projects of special interest, both historic and modern commercial, looking at areas where access is restricted.  The annual programme of events includes an annual lunch at the House of Lords; two golf days; the College of Estate Management (CEM) CPD lectures and networking events; 3CPD Ltd lectures and events; a wine tasting evening, and visits to various places of interest. We have been privileged to have had ‘behind the scenes’ tours of the Tower of London and Hampton Court Palace. In addition we visited St Pancras both during and immediately after its refurbishment and White City and the Olympic site during their construction, to name a few.
